The Wonders Of Using A Derma Wand

There was some kind of Hollywood awards ceremony going on recently and while I typically don't watch that sort of thing, my seventeen year old daughter had it on and so, I more or less, got sucked into watching the show. Of course, I was avoiding my work "work" and so didn't really mind all that much. What ended up drawing my attention was the incredibly good looks of some of the actresses. Now, I know that these particular actresses are around my age and vanity taking over, I was pretty much astounded at how amazingly tight their facial skin looked.

At age sixty, I'm suddenly really, really interested in these things. As perhaps you are. Well, truth be told, I've been interested it these things for several years, on and off, now.

Anyway, the point here is that some rather catty commentators after the show were making comments about how the celebrities prepare for awards nights and one mentioned microcurrent face lift. Apparently, this is one of the many sort of standard preparations that female (as well as some male) stars go thru in preparation for their big night. They want to look their best and everyone of them seems to know the way to best present themselves. Getting a microcurrent face lift is up on the list of "to do's".

I do know some things about getting that kind of facelift. It's considered a "natural facelift" since it's non invasive and non surgical. Tesla first invented the use of microcurrents around the turn of the century. At that time, however, microcurrent technology was specifically used to heal wounds faster and this was in the days prior to the discovery of antibiotics. In any event, the technology was eventually being used in European spas for beauty. The United States eventually caught on and microcurrent facelifts started being used in spas here. Although those machines were considerably larger than the ones we have available for consumer at home use today.

So, I started looking around on the net for more good, solid information about microcurrent machines on the market now and came across these two good websites: Product Review: Dermawand: Is It Really That Good?  Here you're going to get a very good overview of the dermawand as well as how it looks. You'll learn a bit more here than in other places that have this product's review and you'll also learn about the caveats that come with its' usage. Seriously, if you're interested in one of the most popular and long standing do it yourself microcurrent machines on the market today, it will be worth your time to take this quick read.

The second best article that I found was one that does a comparison of derma rollers and the dermawand. Dermarollers are fairly new in the beauty market and space and famous now for affecting some previously very tough skin flaws like scars, wrinkles, cellulite, stretch marks and hair loss. That article is titled: Dermawand Or Derma Rollers: Best Choice and will clearly describe the benefits of use for each of these facial beautifying devices so that you can make the best choice for your own needs.

How To Exfoliate Skin with the Nubrilliance Microdermabrasion System

Ok, having planted that initial seed about doing microdermabrasion, I started doing some more investigation into some of the most popular microdermabrasion machines. In my early sixties now, I can't help but notice the many changes going on with my own facial appearance. It's not just that the muscles are changing (sagging a bit), but my skin also is in need of some help. I recently had a simple facial at a spa and the aesthetician commented that my skin looked pretty clean, as a matter of face, even better and cleaner than most. Why then, I asked her, does my skin looks so dull then? She commented that some of the dead skin cells needed to be removed and then my skin would look brighter. I then asked how much that would cost (microdermabrasion, the removal of dead skin cells) and it was $120 per treatment and she recommended at least 4 consecutive weekly treatments followed by a once a month maintenance treatment. Wow, that totals to $480 for the first month's four treatments. With eleven months left to the year, with one treatment a month, that adds another $1320!! Totaled, microdermabrasion for one year would cost me a whopping $1800 a year if I had it done in a spa. That's when I went to Amazon and started researching microdermabrasion machines to learn how to exfoliate my own skin and that's where I looked at the very popular Nubrilliance Microdermabrasion Machine.

I was initially drawn to this machine as I went thru and read all of the customer reviews. With the exception of one small problem (that is apparently easily fixed), this machine was pretty much raved about by reviewers. It apparently not only effectively exfoliates face and body skin but it also gently vacuums away all of the dead skin cells making your face look sort of "alive" again. For the remarkably low cost of around $250, I couldn't help but sit up and take notice especially when you compare that price with the staggering $1800 a year that it would cost me to have all my microdermabrasion treatments done in an actual spa.

In any event, I'll be researching this topic more in the future but in the meantime, it might be worth your taking a good look for yourself at this apparently amazing machine. Just CLICK HERE to get the information you'll need.

Your Face Scrubber Needs

Do you remember way back when you'd have to come in and wash you face after playing outside? Back then, as children, we probably just thought our mothers were being picky mandating that daily ritural. As adults, we should now understand that it was considerably more than that: keeping our skin and its pores cleaned out is essential to our continuing health as well. That's why starting to use a good face scrubber becomes so important to us as we get older.

Our skin breathes meaning that this is how we get rid of many of the toxins in our bodies. It's extremely important for that reason. It's also important to realize that removing dead skin cells (called exfoliation) from our skin helps to increase skin cell regrowth by increasing the production of collagen and elastin in our bodies. As many of you already know, collagen and elastin decline as we age and are responsible for the firm and subtle looks of our skin. Because of all of the above, it seems pretty obvious that finding and using a good face scrubber just makes the best sense.

THE BEST FACE SCRUBBER FOR YOUR OWN FACE

When we're just kids, it's alright to simply wash your face and hands because chilren's bodies tend to remove dead cells just naturally. As we age, however, we eventually lose that ability to rid our skin of dead skin cells. This is the point where exfoliation plays an important part in replacing that previously natural mechanism of youth.

What happens then to your skin if you don't exfoliate it? The answer to that is simple: your facial skin will start looking kind of dusty, dry, unhealthy and certainly less attractive. If you decide to just try and moisture, it won't work because you'll still not be getting rid of old skin. The better option is to realize head on that there's simply no way around removing all that dead skin. The only way to accomplish fresher looking, new facial skin is by learning how to exfoliate skin and then finding the best exfoliator.

GETTING THE BEST FACE SCRUBBER IS SIMPLE

A face scrubber is the perfect solution to getting rid of those dusty and dried out old skin cells from your face. Here's the thing though: how do you pick the best exfoliator then with all the available choices today?

One of the first things that you need to do is choose whether you want to exfoliate yourself by hand or by using a good, popular microdermabrasion machine. There is considerable difference in these two choices. A facial cleansing brush can be used for everyday dead skin removal. For these kinds of cleansing devices, there are manual as well as the electric versions that seem to work well for continued and ongoing dead cell removal.

Then there are what's known as microdermabrasion machines. Microdermabrasion machines are quite effective as deep pore cleansers. Unlike typical facial brushes, these machines also use suction to get rid of all of the dead skin cells. While microdermabrasion machines are more costly in general, in addition, they give much deeper skin exfoliation and cleansing helping to make them a very popular product.

Solve Sag And Wrinkles

We have something in common if you're at a certain age where you're starting to be concerned about losing your looks. Several years ago, before tuning forty, my sisters and I started researching any and all facial rejuvenation devices, techniques, books and methods. Nearly twenty years later and I'm pleased to say that folks usually guess my age at ten to fifteen years younger than my true age. Happy with the work I've done over these past years, I decided to start this blog to share this hard earned knowledge about erasing wrinkles, crinkles and sags.

I'm also looking to research and present the most natural, trouble free and health conscious ways of maintaining your facial appearance as you age. We'll be going toe to toe here, everyone, with the unnecessary deterioration of our good looks. I'm here to tell you that there's hope.

There ARE many things you CAN do, many of them easy, to help combat an aging face. Probably like you, I have spent a fortune on facial creams, scrubs, exfoliants, masks, etc. To be honest, my own research was envigorated by my frustration with all the pharmaceutical beauty products that simply didn't work.

I couldn't count how many times I’ve paid a high price for a special wrinkle reducing cream/facial product only to have it start flaking off my face a few hours later.  I’ve spent a small fortune on many of these alleged “wrinkle reducing” products .  I know I’m not alone in this.

As I said, I'm accumulated a rather large amount of information about wrinkle removal and facial rejuvenation. Recently, a  couple of friends of mine strongly suggested that I share that hard won (and expensive) knowledge. Taking them up on their suggestion, I started writing short articles on specific facial rejuvenation devices and books that I’ve used over the years and can personally (and confidently) recommend.  I have to try it myself before I feel comfortable recommending anything to anyone because, well, I think it’s very important to know what you’re talking about. I’ve done research for a living so this is easy for me. Aside from that though, this is the internet and while I love it, you do need to be careful about what you buy from whom and who you take advice from.

Speaking of buying, I’ll be listing the articles I’ve written about facial rejuvenation and each article has links to the individual products I’ve written about for convenience and just common sense. Please understand that should you choose to purchase any of these products from those links, I will get a small commission on some of the items.  The first article is The Hottest New Trend In Natural Facelifting Devices.

Briefly, this is an article I wrote after discovering dermarollers, nifty little devices (similar to a hair brush with a small roller on the end) that allow you to roll micro needles over your face which basically opens your pores. By doing this, the skin reacts by producing more collagen and elastin (which declines as we age and is responsible for facial firmness) and reducing or altogether eliminating wrinkles and skin imperfections.

I have large pores and lip wrinkles coming in now so I bought one of these derma rollers several months ago. They DO work. While you can use derma rollers everyday, I only use mine a few times a week and my pores and wrinkles are about half their original size at this point.
In any event, if you’re interested in a risk free, no side-effects method of REALLY getting rid of your wrinkles, please read the article I wrote above for fuller information about derma rollers. I'll be sharing more information and articles with you shortly.
